Links Hall

Throughout its history, Links Hall has been an artist-centric workspace and venue for the development and presentation of new work in the performing arts.  Dance and multi-disciplinary work infuse the artistic culture of the organization.   Links offers a spectrum of programs to serve the artistic community including:  affordable rental space; mentored & paid artist residencies; institutional and financial support for artist-curated performance series; and education for artists and audiences.

Links Hall has an opening for the Director, who leads the organization, carries primary responsibility for operations and programming and ensures the overall health of the organization, while creatively expanding its ability to carry out its mission. The director has primary responsibility for fundraising, financial management, staffing and program coordination. The director works collaboratively with staff, artists, artistic associates, board of directors and its committees, funders, and national and local colleagues and partners including the National Performance Network.

Qualified candidates will have the capacity to lead the organization with vision, strategic thinking, practicality, creativity and innovation.  Important in this role are acute acumen in financial and human capital; an understanding of artist and artistic development; the ability to develop programs which serve both artist and audience; and a comprehensive knowledge in the workings of not-for-profit organizations.

Qualifications:
•    a minimum of 4 years of progressive, effective and comprehensive leadership/management experience in the arts;
•    demonstrated success in leadership, management, fundraising, supervision, and strategic direction;
•    exceptional entrepreneurial, organizational development and communications skills;
•    strong team participation and facilitation skills;
•    innovative, creative and strategic thinking skills;
•    the ability to focus on and execute multi-year fundraising strategy; and
•    a passionate understanding of and commitment to Links Hall’s mission and vision

CD Forum, Executive Director

The Central District Forum for Arts & Ideas (CD Forum), a multi-disciplinary organization that presents and produces Black cultural programs that encourage thought and debate for the greater Seattle area, seeks a dynamic and visionary new leader to guide it through its next generation of success.  As we enter our 10th year, we seek the right person to assume the mantel of responsibility from our founding Executive Director (ED) and continue to steward the vision and mission of the CD Forum. Adhering to our organizational culture of deft planning and strong financial management, the ED will lead the organization into its second decade by growing our local base of support and increasing the CD Forum’s presence on the national stage.

The Executive Director (ED) is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the organization.  He/she will work with the program director and the Board of Directors to ensure that the mission and values of the CD Forum are fulfilled by the presentation of an annual season of multi-disciplinary programs.  The position reports to the Board of Directors.

AREAS OF FOCUS include development, finance, public/community relations, planning, governance, administration, and marketing.

Asian Arts Initiative, Director of Finance and Operations

The Asian Arts Initiative (AAI) is a multi-disciplinary community arts center offering performances, exhibitions, workshops, and training for artists, youth, and adults of all racial backgrounds.  Founded in 1993, AAI is grounded in the belief that the arts can provide an important political and cultural voice for Philadelphia’s Asian American communities.  The organization has an annual operating budget of approximately $650,000, and is in its next phase of growth, with the development of a new multi-cultural, multi-tenant arts facility in Philadelphia’s Center City/Chinatown neighborhood.

AAI is seeking a Director of Finance and Operations who will have primary responsibility for the organization’s finances, administration (including facilities and technology), and personnel systems.  This is a management meam position that works closely with and reports directly to the executive director and will supervise the executive assistant and contracted bookkeeper.  The ideal candidate has demonstrated success doing both financial management and improving organizational systems, is highly organized, and wants to be part of a dynamic and strategic team in a small, non-profit environment.
