Performance Space 122 is a cultural center with two theatres located in the heart of the East Village of Manhattan. P.S. 122 was formerly Public School 122—abandoned by New York City in 1976, and colonized by artists and social service organizations in 1978. P.S. 122 is dedicated to creating opportunities for artists. It operates year-round with over 350 performances—85 separate engagements of dance, theatre, spoken word, hip hop and performance art.

P.S. 122 programs its season about a year in advance, usually finalizing its September-June season by early February. To be considered for the season, send materials, letter, bio, and/or videotape by Dec. 15. Keep us posted on when you are performing anywhere in the world; we will try to send spies.
