El Centro Su Teatro - Denver, CO
Project Title: Su Teatro/Teatro Campesino Exchange
Project Description: Members of El Centro Su Teatro’s junior programming staff and Artistic Director Tony Garcia will engage in a six-month project designed to build the programming skills of junior staff members by teaching them the fundamentals of the Chicano aesthetic and training them in rigorous curatorial methods. In a key component of the project, junior staff members will visit El Teatro Campesino, a bilingual (Spanish/English) theater group based in the historic Mission San Juan Bautista, near San Jose.

Intermedia Arts - Minneapolis, MN
Project Title: Intermedia Arts/Hip Hop Theater Program Mentorship Exchange
Project Description: Provide support for the newly appointed artistic director and production manager at Intermedia Arts to attend, participate in and learn about the Hip Hop Theater Festival, May 11-18, 2008 in San Francisco, CA. In addition we will meet with NPN Partners at MACLA in San Jose and Youth Speaks in San Francisco to gain mentorship and best practices for working with young artists through hip hop and spoken word.

Pat Graney Company - Seattle, WA
Project Title: Uniting Social Services & Community Arts
Project Description: New program director for a new initiative by the Pat Graney Company (Keeping the Faith: The Transitions Program) will mentor with Executive Artistic Director Pat Graney to fully implement the new arts-based education program Keeping the Faith for female ex-offenders and their children.
