How do I go about getting a roommate?
Email Ashley (ashleysparkles@yahoo.com) and let her know that you are looking and she will put you on the list. She will circulate a list with email and phone contact information for those who are interested in getting a roommate.
What if I want a room of my own?
You will be responsible for half the cost of a single room. NPN will subsidize half the cost of your room for 3 nights. All the other steps to receive the subsidy are the same.
QUESTIONS ABOUT SUBSIDY/REIMBURSEMENT
Reimbursements: You will be reimbursed for registration fee, hotel and travel with a single check. In general, NPN will not issue a check until confirmation/receipts for all expenses have been submitted for NPN Partners and Artists.
I already paid to register. How do I receive my registration reimbursement?
You will include your registration confirmation/receipt for payment when you fill out and submit the on-line NPN Partner or Artist reimbursement form.
How much is the subsidy for my travel?
NPN Partners and Artists will be reimbursed for half round trip travel up to $250.
How much is the subsidy for the hotel?
NPN Partners and Artists will be reimbursed for half the cost of a double room for 3 nights. This means that if you have a roommate the cost of the room is covered!
How do I get my subsidy?
- Register for NPAC.
- Save a copy of your registration payment receipt.
- Call the hotel and make your reservation.
- You will need a confirmation receipt from the hotel!
- Once you have booked your flight keep a copy of your confirmation receipt.
- Fill out the NPN Partner or Artist reimbursement form on-line.
- Submit reimbursement form with all attached receipts to Ashley by May 1st.
When is my deadline for submitting the reimbursement form?
The reimbursement form must submitted to NPN no later than May 1st. You must make your travel arrangements early to avoid higher flight costs.
But when will I get my reimbursement check?!?!?
Artists: During NPAC we will designate times for you to pick up your check from an NPN staff person. We will send you that information about pick-up times closer to the convention.
NPN Partners: You will receive your reimbursements by mail after NPAC.
Are meals included in my subsidy reimbursement?
Your meal expenses are your own responsibility.
